General Info

Tucked away at Lemon Gals, this cozy cafe brings a refreshing, feel-good vibe that’s hard to miss. From the moment you step inside, the atmosphere feels relaxed and welcoming, making it a great spot whether you’re catching up with friends or just taking a quiet break.

What really stands out here is how thoughtfully the menu is put together. It leans into sweet indulgence without feeling overwhelming. The Banana Extravaganza with 2 Shots is easily one of the highlights-it’s rich, satisfying, and surprisingly balanced. If you’re into baked treats, the Chocolate Chip Cookie delivers that classic comfort with just the right texture. Meanwhile, the Mille-Feuille adds a touch of elegance, with its delicate layers offering a light yet flavorful contrast to the heavier desserts.

Beyond the food, the overall dining experience feels smooth and convenient. The table service is attentive without being intrusive, which makes a big difference when you’re trying to unwind. Payments are easy too, thanks to NFC mobile payment options, so you won’t have to worry about fumbling with cash or cards.

Another thing I appreciated is how inclusive the space feels. The wheelchair accessible entrance ensures that everyone can enjoy the cafe comfortably. It’s also genuinely good for kids, which makes it a practical choice for families looking for a relaxed dessert stop.

When it comes to reviews and overall impressions, Lemon Gals leaves a strong mark. It’s not just about the desserts-it’s the way everything comes together. The location is easy to find, the service is consistent, and the menu offers enough variety to keep you coming back. Each visit feels just a little different, yet reliably satisfying.

If you’re someone who enjoys cafes that focus on desserts but still deliver a well-rounded experience, this spot fits perfectly into that category. The balance between comfort, quality, and convenience makes Lemon Gals a place you’ll likely want to revisit more than once.

What customers say?

“ Stopped by Lemon Gals for a little afternoon pick-me-up! We tried the Matcha After No Sugar, Dulce de Leche, Tiramisú, and the Banana Extravaganza. We added two shots of espresso for an extra kick. The thick mascarpone topping in the Tiramisu was next-level creamy and paired perfectly with the espresso. Next time we're definitely getting the Mexican Mazapán drink, now that we know it's gluten-free so my wife can enjoy it too. The pastries are just as worthy of the spotlight and worth a return trip on their own. The girls working there were super sweet and welcoming, which made the whole visit even better. A perfect little treat stop. I'll definitely be back! ”

“ Love their drinks! Located inside a community center so the seating and table is limited but lots of benches outside and no trouble looking for parking. Went here during a weekday and pretty quiet around noon. Barista was kind and very helpful and answered questions about their menu and the venue. So yeah, I love it when the staff are awesome ”

“ OMG! Try their tres leches you’ll go back for that again, bcz I AM. Loved the Blue Matcha tea yum ”

“ What an unexpected gem! The desserts looked tempting, but I had just had some candy on the way there to meet a friend for tea. This place also serves up gorditas M-H and have birria nachos on Fridays. I had a ginger berry tea which was delicious! But I’m fixin’ to come back here and try each dessert, starting with those tres leches cupcakes! We sat outside on a sunny day on tables near the yard. You never would have known we were in the middle of San Pablo. What a wonderful quiet respite in the middle of this busy town! Inside a middle school no less! ”

“ Reward yourself and try the birria nachos (Fridays only) which are topped shredded beef. It is flavorful, brothy, spicy, crunchy, cheesy, and flawless. I had it with everything. Just spicy enough to leave your mouth with a slow burn. I had to use a fork and eat it fast before the textures got lost with time. Don't think about sharing one order. You won't want to. I also ordered the Olla latte with 2% milk, even though I'm not a latte drinker. Not too sweet. Chocolatey goodness with a cinnamon kick. Rich and indulgent. Lastly, i got a set of pastries. The standout was the smores brownie which was dense, chewy and crunchy, a textural delight. This is the best Friday! A hidden gem, run by two nice women, inside the community center with easy parking. A quiet oasis and a hidden gem...for now. ”

“ This place is incredible! Inside a community center, but they have the best food and desserts! The concha was fantastic, and the Gordita was TO DIE FOR. It was so soft and savory and a little spicy - perfection for $3.50. Great Latinx-themed coffee beverages but a little sweet for my tastes. It’s the food and desserts for me that shine here! ”

“ Great little cafe inside the community recreation center. The strawberry dessert was delicious! Fresh strawberries and cream inside a flakey pastry. Cafe mocha was good. I liked it better than that popular coffee chain. ”

“ Didn’t expect it to be in the community center. I thought I was in the wrong place. There is 1-2 tables and a couch. Most people seem to pop in and out for their drink, not to sit and hang out. My drink was really yummy. I also ordered the breakfast quesadilla, which was heated up in either a microwave or toaster (no kitchen). It didn’t really have a tortilla consistency, it felt more like naan? I don’t live in the area, and just wanted to find a place for a friend and I to meet. Probably wouldn’t go again, just because it’s not an actual coffee shop. ”
